Campus Life
Associated Students, SJSU Associated Students works to improve the educational opportunities and experiences of SJSU students, offering services that include child care, printing, campus recreation, and computer labs and repair. (408) 924-6240.
MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center MOSAIC Cross Cultural Center provides resources and services for students or groups involved in multicultural inclusiveness activities. (408) 924-6255.
Student Involvement The Office of Student Involvement coordinates a wide variety of programs and services that promote student involvement in campus life and provide opportunities for student leadership training and development. (408) 924-5950.
Student Union, Inc The Student Union, Inc. is a campus auxiliary organization, under the Student Affairs Division, created to provide quality facilities, programs, and services to students and the San Jose State community. The Student Union, Inc. consist of The Aquatic Center, the Event Center, and the Student Union. Each facility provides a unique array of services for students, staff, faculty, and the SJSU community. University Housing Services University Housing Services provides supportive and affordable residential living communities that promote academic success and individual development. (408) 795-5600.

ASPIRE Program Services include advising and academic support for low-income, first generation and disabled students. (408) 924-2540.
Financial Aid and Scholarship Office This office provides quality educational financing services to students and their families through consistent, equitable and timely service to student aid applicants at SJSU. We connect students with campus scholarship opportunities and other off campus resources. (408) 283-7500.
Graduate Admissions From the point of applying to graduate school at SJSU through graduation, Graduate Admissions assists students at key steps during the process. In addition, the office acts as the gateway to graduate-level research, the Institutional Review Board for research using human subjects and a host of related services. (408) 924-2480.
McNair Scholars Program Offers preparation for doctoral study for low-income, first generation college students as well as minorities who are under-represented in graduate education. (408) 924-2540.
Office of the Registrar This office is the university repository for all academic records. W enforce policy implemented by Presidential Directives, the Academic Senate, the California State University, the Education Code of California and FERPA (Family Education Rights & Privacy Act). Functions of the office include registration, processing of transcript requests, verification of enrollment and degree, and other related processes in registration and recordkeeping. (408) 924-5680.
Pre-College Programs Pre-College Programs offers students in Santa Clara County a variety of programs designed to help them complete high school and enter postsecondary education. The Early Assessment Program, a joint project of the California State University and the California Department of Education, uses the California Standards Test to give high school juniors throughout the county a snapshot of their readiness for college-level work and directs those who need assistance to the proper resources in their senior year. Undergraduate Admissions The starting point for undergraduate admissions begins with applying to SJSU via www.csumentor.edu. Undergraduate Admissions processes and evaluates nearly 37,000 applications per year. In addition, the staff is responsible for evaluating applications for bachelors' degrees. (408) 283-7500.
Visitor Relations and Admissions Counseling This office informs, motivates and encourages prospective undergraduate and graduate students to apply to the university. Student Services
Academic Advising and Retention Services This office provides academic advising and student development assistance for General Education for all undergraduates, undeclared students, and special populations, including the Educational Opportunity Program, EO665 students, international students, and student-athletes. Career Center The Career Center promotes the development of SJSU students as professionals by providing the tools to guide them in making career-planning decisions and marketing their skills to employers. Student Conduct & Ethical Development, Office of The Office of Student Conduct and Ethical Development, guided by CSU Executive Order No. 970, enforces the San José State University Student Conduct Code. We focus on pairing student development with the appropriate disciplinary sanctions to help students facilitate their emotional and educational growth. (408) 924-5985.
Ombudsman The University Ombudsman is an impartial party appointed to receive complaints, provide information, facilitate communication, and offer conflict resolution between students and members of the university community (faculty, staff and administrators). (408) 924-5985.
Student Health Center Don't put off getting information and support regarding your health questions. Whether you make an appointment or just drop in, high quality, no cost (and low cost) health care is available to all enrolled students, right on the SJSU campus, M-F (during business hours). Student Affairs Special Programs
The Connect-Motivate-Educate Society (CME Society) CME Society provides support/advocacy for emancipated foster youth attending the university. Students who are considered “emancipated” foster youth have an on-campus resource for making the difficult transition to college on their own and an advocate to help with many aspects of college life. Mediation Center - Conflict and Common Ground (CCG) CCG is a one-stop campus resource that promotes constructive conflict management as a catalyst for growth and change. We provide information, education, and mediation services that can empower you to work through your conflicts in a non-violent manner. (408) 924-1098.
