Cameron Bounds

Running for A.S. Director of Extracurricular Activities

Enjoying your on-campus life while developing experiences beneficial to your career, is what college is all about. Being active in campus extracurricular activities is a great way to gain these experiences and bring about these beneficial opportunities. My name is Cameron Bounds and I believe that student involvement is the key to success.

I am a second year student pursuing a major in Aerospace Engineering. I am founding father of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity, and have successfully integrated myself into the social and educational realms that San Jose State offers. Extracurricular activities have helped me make new friends, relieve stress, keep the "freshman 15" off, gain communication skills, and give back to my community.

If elected, I will continue to advocate and serve to promote and enhance outreach and accessibility of such active opportunities and community service on campus through civic engagement shared by the University. Through my networking on campus, I have seen the great opportunities that our students have to grow and develop here. If elected, I will also advocate for the creation of similar yet innovative programs, aimed to meet your needs, as well as promote those already in existence. We pay to be here, and this is our chance to learn, grow, and develop ? while still having some fun. It will be my goal to make that a reality for you.
