Sarah BronsteinRunning for A.S. Director of Community & Environmental Affairs
I am a Political Science major as well as a proud Spartan. When it comes to my world view, I am a true idealist. I do not believe in stepping on toes as a means of achieving my goals or the goals others have delegated to me. It also means I never limit the possibility of growth and reform wherever possible. Creating a forum of discussion between all student groups is and will remain a priority, that is a promise. Student groups on campus focus on so many things internally and outside in the community that sometimes they forget to look close to home. We have a unique and powerful human resource; the student body, and if centralized, concentrated, and if used to focus in on single issues, we could put to good use at the local level. I look forward to working with all entities on campus such as the Environmental Resource enter and UPD and all aspects of San Jose State that keep it a safe and progressive campus. believe in absolute transparency throughout all levels of the school. The more you know, the more feedback I can get on how to proceed with important decisions that effect your livelihood. Which is why I plan to work closely with the Director of Communications and expect to have regular emails from engaged students informing me of their positions on issues. My door would always be open and you would always have an advocate for your needs in A.S. |
