Nuts and Bolts for Student Organizations workshop series
Gain practical skills! This new service will provide leadership skills training and development specifically geared towards the enrichment of student organizations. The sessions are offered the first Wednesday of every month and are a great way for officers and interested members to quickly gain skills to improve their organizations. Workshops are presented by program coordinators from Student Involvement and other key SJSU staff. ScheduleAll sessions are scheduled on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. in the Student Involvement Classroom, Suite 140, Clark Hall Fall 2007 Workshops September 5 Goal-Setting and Membership Recruitment October 10 Event Planning and Fundraising Tips November 7 Communication Skills and Officer Transitioning December 5 Stress Management and Student Leader Wellness Spring 2008 Workshops February 6 Membership Retention While Facing Burnout March 5 Event Planning and Fundraising Tips April 2 Passing the Torch, Officer Transitioning How to AttendReservations are not mandatory, but appreciated.
