Health Insurance

Health insurance is not required for a visit at the Health Center.  However, since there is no overnight, weekend, or long-term medical care provided by the Health Center, health insurance may be needed for outside hospitalization, special tests, and specialty care that are not available at the Health Center.  Those who do not have health insurance, through parents or employer, are encouraged to purchase the supplemental health insurance offered through the Associated Students (408) 924-6200.  There is a separate plan for international students (408) 924-5920.  Insurance plan details from the Associated Students of SJSU can be found at www.csuhealthlink.com.

Student Health Center Services Does Not Replace Health Insurance
